SURRENDER A SAVANNAH TO RESCUE
However, if you have no choice but to turn your Savannah over to our Rescue, we will need the following basic information:
- Photograph of the Savannah
Cat's name, generation, age, and sex (please indicate if spayed/neutered), - Breeder's name and the sire and dam's registered names (if known),
- Your city and state,
- Vet and vaccination records,
- How quickly you must relocate the cat,
- Why you need to give the cat up,
- What behavioral problems the cat may have,
- Special needs the cat may have,
- Whether the cat is friendly with other cats, dogs, children, etc.
Additionally, we have a form that if you could save and fill out to return to us, this will greatly help us evaluate your cat to find it a new home, click here for that form. Since Savannah Cat Rescue is run solely by volunteers, and funded by donations, please consider making a donation towards helping us rehabilitate and rehome your cat. Any donation is greatly appreciated. It may be the cost of flying the cat to one of our foster homes, or some other amount as you are able. However, we will not turn down any Savannah if you are financially unable to make a donation.
To contact Savannah Rescue, please visit our Contact page. Savannah Rescue is a volunteer organization and we apologize if it takes us a few days to respond.
